
Finneytown Local School District
Successful candidate will provide skilled maintenance for the Finneytown Local School District’s physical plant, buses, and vehicles with a focus on preventive maintenance (PM) following industry best practices, ensuring that all work is done according to design specifications, state and local building codes, applicable regulations, and repairs.
Qualification requirements include, but are not limited to:
· High school diploma or equivalent
· A valid driver’s license and insurability under the District’s insurance policy
· Ability to pass a drug screening/physical in order to obtain a Commercial Driver’s License
· General knowledge of all Federal, State, and local safety and code requirements, District and department rules and procedures, and Board of Education policies.
· Capability of exercising sound judgment to preserve the safety and well-being of others
· Experience in the operation of equipment used in grounds maintenance, including, but not limited to: snowplows, mowers, power-driven equipment, tractor, dump truck, etc.
· Ability to understand chemical hazards and adhere to safety practices
· Ability to work independently
· Ability to prioritize maintenance needs and meet deadlines
· Ability to maintain a high level of ethical behavior
· Ability to work cooperatively with all administrators, teachers, co-workers, families, and students
· Ability to read, write and comprehend written and oral instructions, warnings, and labels
· Satisfactory BCI and FBI Criminal Background checks
· Ability to utilize a computer, email and document work completion via an online work order system.

This is a year-round, full-time position (approximately 260 work days per year). Daily schedule includes 8.5 hours per day (8 paid hours, ½ hour unpaid lunch). Exact hours will be determined.
Anticipated start date is Fall, 2023.
Salary will be in accordance with the Negotiated Master Contract, based on experience.
