Who are we?
 
The Mesivta of Cincinnati, a new Jewish Yeshiva high school opening this fall, was founded to provide students with a superior education in the heart of Cincinnati’s flourishing Torah Jewish community.  The school will offer the serious learner the best possible educational, social and
emotional Yeshiva experience in a warm Torah environment – combining Cincinnati’s unique, caring and nurturing community with a high level of learning and great academic standards.  We offer a warm, student-centered environment in which our students will enjoy a rigorous
dual curriculum of Judaic and General Studies as well as strong extracurricular sessions and events. We see every student as possessing great potential, and we aim to inspire as well as to educate.
 
Position Summary
 
Mesivta of Cincinnati, is seeking a qualified part time science teacher for the 2023-24 school year.  Classes will be from 2:20-6:30 pm, scheduling flexible, Monday through Thursday and will consist of 9th grade Life Science, 10th Grade physical science/chemistry and 11th grade physics. Teachers will have an opportunity to connect one-on-one with students, and grow with a new institution in a vibrant community of learning.  

 
Potential candidates should have:

 
-A bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education or a science field
-A passion for working with kids constructively and independently in a small classroom environment. 

-Classroom experience preferred

-Active teaching license preferred but not required
-The ability to pass an FBI and BCI background check
