Position Summary
 
Mesivta of Cincinnati is seeking a part-time math teacher for the 2022-23 school year.  Classes will be from 2:30 – 6:30pm, Monday through Thursday, and consist of one section each of 9th grade Algebra, 10th grade Geometry and 11th Grade Algebra II/Trigonometry.  Teachers will be responsible for lesson planning, classroom management and grade reporting in a timely fashion.  Please attach a resume and letter of teaching philosophy with your application.
 
The ideal candidate for this position will:
 
-Have a bachelor’s degree in secondary education or in a related field of mathematics.
-Be able to share their passion and love for learning in a small classroom environment (8-13 students per class).
-Be able to pass an FBI and BCI criminal background check.
-Possession of a standard teaching license is preferred but not required.
-Familiarity with Ohio or national standards for high school math is preferred but not required.
