High School Literacy Specialist

Clermont Northeastern High School is accepting applications for a Literacy Specialist for the 2022-23 School Year.  The ideal candidate will provide research based instruction to students who struggle with reading comprehension in the different content areas, fluency, and/or decoding.  A research based, high effect size program will be used to deliver explicit, systemic, teacher-led instruction, this intervention gives students new skills to unlock grade-level content-area text.  Training in the program will be provided.

Applicants with licensure in 7-12 Integrated Language Arts.  This position is funded through Ohio’s Comprehensive Literacy State Development Grant and therefore will end when the grant expires after the 2023-24 School Year.
