Associate’s degree or higher. 
At least one year of experience of working with children with a mental health diagnosis
Ability to accept and incorporate constructive feedback into job duties 
Training Department in the Teaching Family Model, Therapeutic Crisis Intervention, and trauma informed care.
Role Expectations:
Give standardized test to students for IEP purposes
Assist with all statewide testing, teaching assignments, and developing lesson plans
Lead groups with various assignments
Supervise students at all times
Monitor and assist students with their assignments
Teach lessons when the teacher is out of the room
Keep teacher updated on students’ progress and any other issues related to the students in your classroom
Provide feedback on how students are progressing behaviorally and academically
Attend IEP/ETR meetings when necessary and assist and provide input with the writing of students’ IEPs
Must have the ability to remain alert, observant and physically able to respond appropriately to work situations or emergencies including, but not limited to physical restraint of youth
