Position Requirements:
Master’s Degree with PCC or LISW required,
At least five years clinical experience, including Child, Group and Family therapy,
Supervisory experience preferred.
Must be 21 years of age or older.
Must achieve and maintain Teaching Family Model Certification.
Implement and adhere to the principles and philosophies of the Teaching Family Model.
Must pass Therapeutic Crisis Intervention Training which requires mastery of de-escalation techniques, crisis prevention and physical restraint techniques used on youth and adolescents
Must have the ability to remain alert, observant and physically able to respond appropriately to work situations or emergencies including, but not limited to physical restraint of youth and adolescents.
Job Goals:
Supervise directly the Day Treatment Program Manager, Therapists and CPST workers.   Provide regular supervision for Program Manager, Therapists and CPST workers.
Observe, teach and model the Teaching Family Model to staff and clients.
Insure that program operations are safe, efficient, and effective.
Provide consultation for partial hospital treatment team members on therapeutic and clinical issues including during module meetings.
Maintain staffing schedules and ratios in a manner that insures the safety and well-being of clients.
Work closely with treatment team to establish a relationship with family members, significant others, children, and staff to provide support, orientation, and teaching of treatment goals and progress.
Evaluate client care based on patient responses to goal achievement, shown through appropriate revisions to service plans and progress note documentation.
Participate in treatment planning, case management, and discharge planning of patient in compliance with State and other relevant regulatory agency standards.
Conducts staffing conferences related to clinical and treatment issues.
Oversees Treatment Plans/Reviews, Transfer Summaries, Discharge/Termination Summaries.
Works closely with the admissions to provide input regarding appropriateness of client referred.
Reviews Day Treatment documentation for compliance and holds supervisees accountable to all compliance expectations.
Attends training annually for professional development, to maintain professional licensure and meet licensing regulations.
Serves as clinical back-up for all clinicians supervised.
Manage personnel concerns in a timely, effective manner.
Lead regular team meetings.
Attend weekly Clinical Operations meetings and complete all corrective actions assigned.
Attend weekly Incident Review meetings.
