Qualified Candidates are needed to fill the vacancy of the Health Aide for the 2021-2022 school year.
Lincoln Heights Elementary – Full Time, 7.5 Hours per day, 190 days
School Year Only
Must have a high school diploma
Must have computer skills – Excel, Word, Google.
CPR, AED, and First Aid training and certification preferred.
Duties include but are not limited to the following: Provide health services in the school. Treat student injuries or illness and advise students, their parents or guardians, and staff on health issues. Conduct screenings (vision, hearing, scoliosis), work with district nurse to support district-wide health initiatives, keep track of students vaccinations and immunization records, update student health history; and ensure compliance with national and local health laws.
Special knowledge and or skills and abilities needed for this position, such as: requires good communication and organizational skills; have knowledge of basic software; enjoys working with children; willing to work as a team; ability to work without the supervision of an RN, LPN, or a licensed school nurse.
Compensation will be assigned based on experience using the Collective Bargaining Agreement salary range.
