Cincinnati Hebrew Day School
The math teacher is responsible for providing quality instruction and classroom management. The math teacher will submit lesson plans, take part in weekly faculty meetings, and establish and pursue professional goals.
Teach two periods daily of 6th, 7th and 8th grade math, a total of 4 classes each day, 16 classes a week. Prepare and share daily lesson plans based on existing curriculum; collaborate, create, and revise curriculum; closely monitor and record student progress; correspond regularly with students and parents about student progress; establish and pursue professional goals; attend professional development and staff meetings; and fulfill other supervisory duties as assigned.
Two (2) years classroom teaching preferred. Bachelor’s degree required. Demonstrated competency and experience with lesson planning; basic computer skills including MS Office suite (Word, Excel, and PPT) and use of web-based tools like Google Docs
