TITLE:                         EANS Educational & Support Services Consultant [Learning Loss] – COVID Impact
 
QUALIFICATIONS:   

Preferred Master’s degree or beyond in Education, Curriculum and Instruction, and/or Educational Leadership (or related field) with emphasis in learning recovery
Valid Teaching License required – additional valid
Administrative/Supervisory License preferred;
Previous teaching experience required; Administrative experience preferred;
Previous experience and demonstrated success in professional development, curriculum development and implementation, instruction, assessment, content area expertise, data analysis, program management and evaluation;
 
   
REPORTS TO:    Center Director, Supervisor, or designee
 
JOB SUMMARY:    To provide emergency services and assistance
to students and teachers in non-public schools through the
Emergency Assistance to Non-public Schools Program (EANS)
to address the impace that the Coronovirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19)
has had, and continues to have, on non-public school students and 
teachers and to address learning lossThis position is funded by federally provided COVID Relief monies – EANS.
 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Initiating and maintaining educational and support services or assistance for remote or hybrid learning and/or to address learning loss
Developing instructional plans, including curriculum development, for remote or hybrid learning and/or to address learning loss
Redeveloping instructional plans for remote or hybrid learning and/or to address learning loss
Modeling effective use of educational technology to assist in addressing learning loss
Training and professional development for staff on sanitization, the use of PPE, and minimizing the spread of infectious disease [COVID-19].
Expanding the capacity to administer coronavirus testing protocols to effectively monitor and suppress the virus
 OTHER PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBLITES:
Lead and/or support exemplary programs, resources, and strategies that represent best practices in curriculum, instruction, and assessment and supports the social, emotional and mental wellness of all students.
Work closely with department chairpersons, principals, and lead teachers to implement effective Standards-Based instruction.
Lead, design, deliver and/or collaborate in support of professional development in general curriculum areas such as curriculum alignment, assessment, and instructional best practice.
Provide consultation to support building/district educational leaders in the implementation of research-based programs.
Build strategic alliances and superior relationships with district, HCESC and partners.
Work collaboratively with all building staff, parents/guardians, and community-support providers
Perform other tasks and responsibilities as assigned.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
Shall be appointed to a limited contract with the number of days established by the employment contract. Salary to be established by the Board.

Performance will be evaluated in accordance with Board policy.
