TITLE: Front Desk/Data Entry Specialist 

 

QUALIFICATIONS:Minimum two years of postsecondary education 
Demonstrated comptetency in communication, customer service and problem solving
Competency of interpersonal and communication skills in diverse cultural and socio-economic environment
Computer literacy and familiarity with various applications
Ability to multi-task and prioritize work
REPORTS TO: Facilities Coordinator or designee

 

JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for providing excellent customer service, managing the safety/security of the building, data entry  and administrative support

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 

Manage entry into and exit from the building, including the building security sign-in process.
Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.
Manage and direct phone calls, respond to customer, partner, and client inquiries.   
Ability to relate to persons with diverse educational, socioeconomic and ethnic backgrounds.
Assist in completing and entering Head Start data in Child Plus System   
Attend computer and or/database training as needed to stay up to date on new information or changes in programs used by the agency
Collect data and information upon request
Complete internal monitoring tasks as assigned  
Provide support services for administrators and staff 
Assume other duties as assigned. 

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT 

Shall be assigned to 220 days of work. Salary to be established by the Board 

EVALUATION: 

Performance will be evaluated in accordance with Board Policy
